WHMCS Security Vulnerability

A high-severity security vulnerability (CVE-2026-29204) has been identified in the WHMCS billing and automation platform. This flaw could potentially allow authenticated users to perform unauthorized actions or access services belonging to other accounts.

In the interest of protecting our customers' environments, our security team is currently reaching out to affected account holders via email. cPanel Security Update

cPanel has released an update for three new security vulnerabilities: CVE-2026-29201, CVE-2026-29202, and CVE-2026-29203

The patch for these vulnerabilities will be deployed on 5/8/2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern US time. This update will be deployed automatically.

    CloudLinux Troubleshooting

    Our Systems Administration Team is aware of the Copy Fail Vulnerability (CVE-2026-31431) affecting certain Linux kernel versions, as outlined by CloudLinux.     cPanel & WHM Login Authentication Vulnerability

    A critical vulnerability was recently identified in the cPanel software regarding an authentication login exploit. This affects all currently supported versions of cPanel.     A planned reboot for ngx341 is being scheduled for early 9/28 in association with our ongoing work with CloudLinux. Due to quality of service events within the last 24 hours, our systems administration team is focusing on the following impacted servers: res345, ecngx300, ecbiz316, and ecngx303.

    Shared Server Updates

    Improvements in the quality of service have been made over the last 24 hours. We are continuing to ensure LVE limits are having a positive impact, apache based problems are largely resolved, and we are moving IO transactions to the ramdisk storage layer on some of our shared servers.

    Engagement with Cloudlinux is still ongoing and ngx304/ecbiz275 are the focus of our systems administration team.

    We are pleased to report that since the deployment of LVE, amsngx344 has maintained 100% uptime. This reflects the improved stability and performance provided by our recent updates.

    Additionally, we are actively engaging with CloudLinux to further optimize performance and are currently working on addressing FPM timeouts and memory consumption issues on ngx353 as well as ngx304.
